Life wearing you down? Feel like it's all just too much? Every little thing is just taking so much energy and you don't have enough time to figure it all out? Do you want to just crawl in your bed and let the day pass by? See if tomorrow feels better?
Don't !
Of course, if you're really tired, taking a bit of rest is a good idea. However, if the overload is keeping you awake that doesn't help you one bit. In that case or right after your nap, the best way to get rid of that feeling of being overwhelmed, is to get moving . You can go out for a walk, play your favourite sports, go out shopping, anything to change the perspective will help a little. Changing the perspective will make you look differently at the same list of things to do. This can help you choose where to start on the real important stuff.
It will help you more to pick one thing of your long list and just start doing it, even if you don't feel like it, or even in the middle of the night, if you can't sleep because of it. Start with something small like doing a load of laundry, cleaning up your desk, send out that one important email or making that much needed dentist appointment. Usually, once you've scratched one thing off your list, you feel so much better that you can tackle the next.
It is even better if you do something that will actually make you better equipped to deal with all this before the next time that it gets a little too much. Take a yoga lesson, go meditate or -even better- :
schedule a session with Equivista Coaching that will help you find the power within! Handling a horse can be an overwhelming thing, especially if you're not used to it. So much things to pay attention to. Together with my horses I can help you figure out how to handle that overload. This will give you a feeling of powerful calm, so the next overload of big and small problems will not make you lose any more sleep ...
The next open group workshop is scheduled for April 25 in the afternoon. You can also register for a private session, by using the contact form, through facebook, or sending a whatsapp or email. See you soon !
Regards, Harriette
